    First of all let me say I love your website so much. I use it constantly to try and locate a specific Miche and the name attached to it. I ran across one on ebay this week that I really like but you don't seem to have it listed. Any ideas?

      Hi there.. first of all, thank you for the kudos! Sorry that I can't keep it up to date any longer (drats)! Gosh - I thought I had Sally listed, but it looks like she eluded my posting (lol)! I'll try to find her in my files and post it up for you! But yes, Sally was a bright aqua blue slip on Shell. She came in all 4 sizes: Petite, Classic, Demi & Prima :) Have a great day! Tracey

    I also use your site so much - just got a classic shell in - that says it is a Miche - but I have never seen one like this before. It is black - with a black & white zebra print along both ends about 2 inches wide - then a bright pink 1/2" inch wide line across the bottom of that with what looks like nuts holding it on - it is all just a solid piece of fabric tho. Now that I look closer at it - the black part has a light paiseley print in it. Do you know what shell this is by any chance?

    Hi Tracey,
    I have used your site several times to find out if the Miche shells I purchased at thrift stores are retired & their names if not listed on the shell, & it has been very informative. When I first saw a Miche shell I didn't know what it was, only that it was sharp & expensive even at a thrift store. I did some research online & before I knew it, I was "obsessed" too, & ended up with 2 classic bags, a mini & over 36 shells! I love them but like all my other purse "obsessions", they are getting no use & being on a fixed income, I need to try & sell some & wondered what signature pricing versus premium pricing meant so that I can know what to price them at, most are in excellent condition. Also, I saw the letters PS after some of the shells, what does that mean? Last but not least, of all the shells why isn't there a Kathy or Kathleen shell, I must say I was really disappointed at not seeing one. Sincerely, Kathy

      Hi Kathy! Nice to meet a fellow Miche Lover!! Glad my blog has been a help :) In regards to pricing your Miche items to sell now, you know - it just depends on how you sell it, when you sell it and where. Since Miche got bought out 2 months ago (and have closed their doors), Miche items have really dropped in price - like bottom dollar! Have you looked at eBay's listed Miche items that have sold? It is a Miche buyers market for the last couple months. Theoretically, I would think that once everyone got their Miche at these low prices that eventually they will want 'new' (new to them) Shells and maybe auction prices will go back up again. I have just a small amount of inventory left and unless I get the urge to purge - I will hold onto them and wait until the Miche market goes back up (fingers crossed!). The PS = "Premium Shell", which had the premium pricing... And although it's not exact, Miche did create a Katherine Prima Shell back in the early days - so that's pretty close! The closest Miche Shell that had to my name was Stacy - lol :) Have a great day and good luck!! Tracey
