Once again we are taking the latest trend straight from the fashion runway and bringing it to your shoulders. That trend is black—the New Black, as it’s sometimes called— which actually isn’t new at all, is it?! But fashion is cyclical, so black is back in style.

Are you looking for sleek and confident? Fashion-forward? Office chic? Black can be your go-to color for all these looks. It’s hard to go wrong with something this classic.

• Spice up your favorite pair of distressed jeans by wearing a casual black blazer or jacket.

• Take that white tee to the next level by putting on a pair of fitted black slacks.
